Carl Parnham

Registered Massage Therapist

Carl completed his 2 years (2200 hrs) of massage therapy training at CDI College where he finished at the top of the class. He is registered with the National Health Practitioners of Canada (NHPC).

Carl’s decision to become a massage therapist came from his own personal experience with chronic pain and headaches. After Carl was rear ended in a major motor vehicle accident and was left with serious neck pain and constant headaches, he was bounced around from medical centre to medical centre and all they ever recommended was pain killers and a muscle relaxant. Carl knew he needed more than a few pills which would only mask the problem, not solve the underlying issue. He found that massage therapy was the solution and it didn’t leave him with brain fog like the pills did. Now he has no pain in his neck and has not had a headache for over 4 years.

Carl wants everyone to be able to live pain free and works his hardest to create just that effect. He really “reads the muscles” moving slowly with each stroke, getting deeper into the tissue and getting better releases. He takes time to understand your story, and knows that the area that hurts might not actually be the real issue. The body is all connected so he focuses not only on the pain area, but on all surrounding muscles to give the maximum amount of relief.

RMT

Justine Bouchard

Registered Massage Therapist

I’m a very passionate person. One of my main passions is the sport of wrestling. I competed for 17 years making it on the National Team multiple times and currently assistant coach with the University of Alberta team.

My own experience as an elite athlete helped me learn the value of healing my body through self-care exercises as well as many other values I never knew I’d come to rely on.

I graduated from the University of Calgary in 2010 with a Bsc in biological sciences and had no idea what to do with the degree. Soon after, I enrolled in a 2200 hour massage therapy program and earned my practicum hours at a chiropractor clinic which is where I stayed until I moved from Calgary at the beginning of 2017. In the chiropractor setting I worked with a variety of people and gained experience dealing with common overuse injuries as well as sports injuries or motor vehicle accidents.

Yoga came into my life as part of my training in wrestling but I gained so much more than the physical benefits. I healed emotionally and grew spiritually. My passion for yoga continues to grow and emanates at its highest when I can share it with others.

Massage, Yoga and wrestling are just some of my passions and I aspire to continue to learn and grow in all of them.
