Sarah Wallace-Nordin
Sarah Wallace-NordinRegistered Massage Therapist (Whitemud)
My name is Sarah Wallace-Nordin and I am a Registered Massage Therapist. I graduated from Grant MacEwan’s 2200 hour diploma program in 2009 and I am registered with NHPC.

I specialize in therapeutic/relaxation massage focusing on trigger points and myofascial release. Along with standard massage, I offer hot stone which is a relaxing treatment using smooth heated stones to massage that helps warm and relax tense muscles.

I am also trained in dynamic myofascial cupping using silicone cups to create negative pressure that helps lift fascia and loosen muscles while encouraging blood flow.

Massage is beneficial in so many ways. I believe in the power of massage to provide a mind/body connection, which allows us to feel our bodies, notice where we hold our stress, and to feel relief physically as well as mentally. It is important to make time and care of ourselves and I am happy to provide massage as a part of the process.

Carl Parnham
Carl ParnhamRegistered Massage Therapist (Whitemud)
Carl completed his 2 years (2200 hrs) of massage therapy training at CDI College where he finished at the top of the class. He is registered with the National Health Practitioners of Canada (NHPC).
Carl’s decision to become a massage therapist came from his own personal experience with chronic pain and headaches. After Carl was rear ended in a major motor vehicle accident and was left with serious neck pain and constant headaches, he was bounced around from medical centre to medical centre and all they ever recommended was pain killers and a muscle relaxant. Carl knew he needed more than a few pills which would only mask the problem, not solve the underlying issue. He found that massage therapy was the solution and it didn’t leave him with brain fog like the pills did. Now he has no pain in his neck and has not had a headache for over 4 years.

Carl wants everyone to be able to live pain free and works his hardest to create just that effect. He really “reads the muscles” moving slowly with each stroke, getting deeper into the tissue and getting better releases. He takes time to understand your story, and knows that the area that hurts might not actually be the real issue. The body is all connected so he focuses not only on the pain area, but on all surrounding muscles to give the maximum amount of relief.
